Found this hidden gem while visiting Hilton Head... Food was excellent. I highly recommend the southern breakfast. It was a heavenly mix of potato, turnip greens, and relish in a light sausage gravy. The grits were also yummy! Staff was friendly and service was quick. We were in fairly early before the rush.

THEY ARE CLOSED AND MOVING - We found out the hard way and tried to find it and couldn't so we called them and he said they are closed and moving. SO DON'T BOTHER GOING UNTIL THEY RE-OPEN.

Highly recommended! Entrees were delicious and well priced. Additionally the wait staff were friendly and attentive. However, the restaurant is a bit small (about 9-10 tables for four) so plan ahead during busy hours. The following is what we ordered: Farmer's Toast - Crunchy on the edge and juicy soft on inside. Perfectly balanced mix of bacon and pecans... Add maple syrup on top of that... And tummy heaven awaits you. Henrietta's Eggs Omelet w/ Grilled Vegetables - The grilled vegetables added yummy summer flavoring to the omelet. It was amazing for a vegetable omelet. The crunchy bacon was not greasy at all, and the accompanied grits was smooth and creamy. Seasoned Fries - eh I count two potatoes I'm my plate full of Texas size strips of seasoned fries, tasty and not greasy. (Ignore the bite of bacon in my picture... It was from the omelet) Overall an excellent experience. We will return for sure!

First, know this: the bread is amazing. Went there for lunch with my sister on a Monday...nice location, right off the main road but tucked away for a cozy feel. It's nice to go to a place that isn't Panera, but still has tasty sandwiches, fast service, and a unique feel. The server was very kind and went out of his way to ensure our lunch was enjoyable. I enjoyed the chicken BLT, and my sister went a little crazy and tried the smoked salmon avocado hoagie. All in all, a rousing triumph for simple fare. Would return if I were a local, which sadly, I am not.

Great food, small secluded restaurant. Lunch was wonderful. One server who worked really hard to take care of all the tables.

What a great treat today. We met a sweet lady in Pineland parking center hawking the Relish Café and she gave us a menu. We decided to try it...it was so DELISH! The best French fries in the area along with a savory Philly cheese steak sandwich that we split. The meat and ingredients are so fresh. We will return for breakfast and/or dinner sometime. The people at the next table raved about their Reuben and Lunch special.

So, we have a bit of a conundrum here. Collectively, we would put this at about 3.5 stars since there were positives and negatives. Good coffee, which is always a plus. The sausage casserole was decent - but I felt i could get this elsewhere and it would have been tastier. The cheese covering the casserole lacked any flavor. The potatoes accompanying the plate were ordinary, and I left them uneaten. I did like the marbled rye toast - which I cannot get on the left coast. The star was definitely the shrimp and grits that came with a sausage gravy - a five star resort by itself. Truly outstanding. And we added in a bread pudding for later with fresh blueberries. It was a nice compliment to the meal - roughly four stars by its lonesome. The service was not as good - two stars. There were three tables filled and we waited upwards of 40 minutes for our dishes to be served. I finished my first cup of coffee and waited 10 minutes for the waiter to check in for a refill. I can't imagine what kind of wait might be in store if the place was filled. All in all, a mixed bag that played both sides of the coin.

Great service and lovely atmosphere. This may have been the best omelette I have ever had! This is a must try restaurant!

Came for breakfast today. Hubby got the the corned beef. Must say it's one of the better corned beefs we've ever had. I got the harrietta's eggs which consists of grits, toast, cheese omelette, and two pieces of bacon that I shared with my son. Both entrees also came with a side of fresh fruit which our son loved. We enjoyed everything we ate here. Our server and the chef were all very nice. We would definitely come back if they had high chairs. Carrying our active son while eating is not pleasant.

Great meatloaf and turkey sandwiches. Butternut Squash soup was excellent. Staff worked very hard and got food out quickly. Will return on my next trip to Hilton Head

Stopped in Relish for the first time for some lunch with my husband and so happy we did. We were greeted by Kara with a smile and she provided us with wonderful service and not to mention delicious food! My husband had the Reuben on marble rye toasted to perfection. I don't typically care for Reuben sandwiches but this one was excellent and I would order it for myself. I had a grilled veggie salad which was also delish, but I will try something different next time since everything on the menu looked yummy. They have a nice outdoor seating area too if the weather is conducive. Overall just an all around great experience at Relish. Just a note, they will be moving in the near future because the plaza they are in is going to be redone. Stop in and they will put you on an email list to keep you updated :)

I'm happy to Report that Relish is back in the sun for me. Over the space of four days we had two great luncheon meals there. And no at this time my fingers are not more dexterous than that Yelpworld;)

Seemed like a local spot, very hidden. Got the Chicken BLT....and it was great. Even as I took the order to go, the quality held by the time I was home it still tasted awesome. They do buttery Texas type toast, with a nice cut of chicken, bacon...and good fries. Friendly service, I'll be back. More recommended for dine-in.

Loved our 1st experience at Relish! It was a quiet day before the holidays but this little restaurant is a gem! Hubby had split pea soup & 1/2 chicken BLT...excellent. My brother tried the meatloaf sandwich and it was great. I enjoyed an omelette... Breakfast served all day! Service was friendly & surroundings clean & neat. Great spot mid/island!

My family stopped into Relish one morning as we were leaving Hilton Head. After several mediocre meals on the island, Relish was a pleasant surprise! We had an omelet and the hash with poached eggs and both were cooked perfectly! (seriously, why is it so hard to get a decently cooked poached egg?!) Service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it. Highly recommend for breakfast. One side note, the "hashbrowns" are really just roasted potatoes with peppers and onions, so for the WaffleHouse crowd, know what to expect.

Place was amazing, exceeded all expectations. Creative, tasty and very well priced. The sausage casserole was delicious, not sure what the previous complaints were about. The farmer's toast, was spectacular, I don't even like maple syrup but their syrup was great and more of a dip, had walnuts and few other things in it! The dumpling app was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and delicious all around. French fries were also terrific. Really can't say enough about this place, I wish it didn't take us 4 days into our vacation to find this place because I can't wait to go back again.

Very good. Phenomenal bacon, and the French toast dish was excellent. Only the grits were disappointing. Hash dish was good as well. We'll be back.

Don't let the size of the menu and place fool you. We decided to go here based on the good reviews on yelp. When we got to the restaurant however we were a little skeptical as it was empty and their menu wasn't huge. However upon getting our breakfast food we were pleasantly surprised. The food was awesome! I got the French toast! It was awesome! Definitely give it a try! My parents also loved their meal but I can't recall what they got. Something with fried green tomatoes and a sausage casserole thing.

Our breakfast was just okay . The fresh fruit was sweet, juicy and delicious. The bacon was great, but everything else left a little to be desired. Glad we tried it though.

Came across this small and hard to find restaurant off Rt 278. Best breakfast and lunch, had the fried green tomatoes and poached eggs topped with spinach. Take a piece of the pecan pie with thick chocolate frosting home, I did.

This cozy little new addition to Hilton Head Island's restaurant scene is a treasure. They were a breakfast/lunch place but are now also serving dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. I've had breakfast there...innovative selections...and it was delicious so we decided to go back for dinner and it was beyond our expectations!! I had the most delicious Henny Penny Pot Pie. The flavors were perfect and the flaky crust was exceptional in its delicacy. It was the best I've ever had. Coconut Cream Pie for dessert was also delicious. From beginning to end a memorable meal. We'll definitely be back!!

When we walked in here to eat, I was worried it wouldn't be any good because the place was empty. I was wrong! Great lunch menu choices and food was delicious. Great service. This place is a hidden gem. I'll definitely be returning.

When visiting Hilton Head don't miss eating at the Relish Cafe. It is so cozy, clean, and everything served is fresh and homemade. The server was very friendly. We went for lunch and had a delicious chicken sandwich and a salad with flavorful shrimp. We enjoyed lunch so much, we booked a reservation for dinner a few nights later. Can't wait to return.

When kids love the food that means it's a good quality food. We as a family loved the food here at this cafe, we had breakfast and the food was fresh and tasteful. Thank you to the team that makes it happen every day. Keep up the good food.
